📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
The Jain Laboratory at the Mucosal Immunology and Biology Research Centre (MIBRC) and MGH is focused on approaches that integrate advanced cellular, computational and molecular methods to understand the mechanisms of microbial influence on postnatal immune system development. This research is on the cutting edge of Immunology and will advance our understanding of Pediatric Immunity through the study of basic immunological developmental processes.
This is a full-time position that under the direction of the Principal Investigator carries out a broad range of technical research and experimental activities and procedures. The work has a substantial in vivo component including the dosing and breeding of mice. Experience in mouse handling, tissue harvesting, and flow cytometry is highly desirable.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree required. New graduates with some lab experience (via course work, internships, etc.) or those without any prior research experience will be considered for the Research Technician I position outlined above.Those with a minimum of 1 year of directly related work experience will be considered for a Research Technician II position.
