Project: Equity Sales Support and Trading Desk
Fortune 500 Bank Securities Trading Floor in NYC, currently needs two technology specialist to provide Application Support for multiple Equity Sales and Trading Applications focusing on Bloomberg and OMS/Fidessa for trader operation support in the high paced production trading scenarios and to perform scripting in Excel, Visual Basic, Python, and SQL. Today, 1 FTE resource provides this and as such is a Key Man Risk and can't take a day off work
The credit limit management process is manual and the role is in critical path to allow traders to trade when credit limit changes are required.
Must Haves
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or Finance, or Economics or related field 5 years of experience in the Financial Services IndustryCash EquitiesHigh touch and low touch tradingKnowledge of scripting tools i.e. Excel VBA, Python and SQL for data manipulation and automationProficient in MS Office suiteThe ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment Ability to work in Agile environment (Kanban and SCRUM)7+ years of experience supporting the Bloomberg and Fidessa/OMS
Desired Skills
Knowledge of industry regulations and basic practice and procedure of securities tradingKnowledge of Cash Equities ProductsKnowledge of Fidessa and BloombergFamiliarity of FIX protocol and FIX ATDL protocol
