📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
New Controller opportunity with an expanding restaurant chain management business in Arizona! Newly created role to help this fast-growing management company, first time in-house, working under a visionary leadership group. Oversee 3rd party accounting/bookkeeping service, reviewing daily accounting transactions, directing month-end close, preparing financial statements and performing P&L analysis. Monitor and review payroll, manage tax filings, oversee expense policies, credit card merchant services, gift card programs, finding cost saving opportunities, designing and implementing enhanced accounting policies and procedures. Prepare annual budgets, multi-year forecasting, ROI analysis. Monitor and review in-store operations metrics, identifying stronger processes and growth opportunities. Ideal for 7+ years, restaurant industry experience a MUST, comp range to $200K DOE + bonus/profit sharing, full benefits, 3 days a week in-office in Tempe. Experience with POS systems, cloud based ERP (Intacct) a huge plus, as is CPA (not required).
