📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Amergis is partnered with a much respected facility in Tewksbury, MA, currently seeking CNAs to assist them on a contractual basis.
Details of the position include
Location: Tewksbury, MA
Duration: 13 weeks to start, strong chance of extension
Facility Type: State Hospital
Shifts available
1st Shift: 6:45am-3:15pm
2nd Shift: 2:45am-11:45pm
3rd Shift: 10:45am-7:15am
Must be able every other weekend, no requested time off in the first 13 weeks.
Responsibilities
Provides exceptional nursing care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN and monitor changes in patients conditions.Record all vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate ect.Communicates with patients to ascertain feelings or need for assistance or social and emotional support.Assist nurses aor physicians in the operation of medical equipment or provision of patient care.Responds and assists in emergency codes to ensure the safe care and management of patients.
Minimum Requirements
Certification as a Nurse Aide under the Massachusetts Aide Registry1 year of experience preferredExperience working under supervision of an RN or LPNDemonstrated competency appropriate to the age of patients served.
Start Date: Two weeks from offer
