Amergis Healthcare is actively looking for a Revenue Cycle Specialist that would beinterested in a 13 week, Full-Time Contract at a Facility in Chicago,IL. Additional details of the contract are below:
Position: Revenue Cycle Specialist
Location: Chicago, IL
Pay Rate: $30/hr
Schedule
8:00A – 4pm or 9:00A – 5pm (Needs to be flexible)
Duration
13 Weeks (Likely Extension)
Essential Job Duties& Responsibilities
Insurance verification Ticket review and claim submission Payment posting Claim research and resolution Data collection for UDS data reporting Medicare and Medicaid credit balance reports 340B Pharmacy Revenue Tracking
Requirements
Preferred 4+ years of experience in performingoutpatient medical billing in a FQHC setting Preferred experience with Centricity/Athena Experience using Office 365, including outlook,share point, excel, and word Familiar with coding Experience with reading and understanding explanationof benefits and the ability to post payments and follow up denied/rejectedclaims according to department guidelines and protocol. Medical terminology and ICD10/CPT codingprinciples 3 years’ experience of Medicare, State ofIllinois Medicaid, Managed Care billing
