As a Technical Lead, you will play a key role in leading and managing a team of software developers. The Technical Lead will be responsible for the underlying architecture of the program and act as a mentor for new software developers as well as other members of the team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Contributes to software development tasks, including coding, debugging, and troubleshootingDevelops high-quality software solutions that meet project requirementsPerforms analysis and software architectural design of the applicationEstablishes the technical vision with the development team and works with developers to turn it into realityEstablishes processes and standards of best practices in software developmentProvides technical advice and options to management and provides programming perspective on requirementsCollaborates with other team members and junior developers to ensure projects are finished on timeProvides technical guidance to coach and mentor team members; provides performance feedback to managersProvides and receives feedback to and from developers in order to promote growth and developmentMaintains a productive and motivated working environment for development teamsAssists with recruiting, onboarding and training new team members as requiredPerforms other duties as assigned/necessary

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience 5-8 years of experience as a Software EngineerA proven track record in software engineering, with expertise in one or more programming languagesStrong knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and best practicesAbility to lead and influence peersAbility to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language is requiredAbility to handle risk and manage change comfortablyAbility to communicate complex ideas and influence others in a tactful and diplomatic mannerStrong analytical problem solver with attention to detailAbility to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyAbility to be “Hands-on” in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentAbility to effectively elicit/provide information in a user friendly languageStrong communication (oral and written) and consultative skillsExperience working in a team-oriented and collaborative matrix environment
