Job Title: Enterprise Architect, Digital and E-Commerce spaceJob Type: Contract to HireJob Location: San Francisco, CA 94105 – Hybrid Onsite/ RemoteWork Schedule: Hybrid OnsitePayrate: $70/hr to $78/hr on W2
Responsibilities:As an Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for managing Enterprise-wide solutions to include specific expertise in Digital, E-Commerce, Data and Cloud solutions. Reporting to the Senior Director, Architecture you will:Lead the Architecture and design of business and tech initiatives related to personalization across different systems and applications including Ecommerce (Search, Browse, Cart, Checkout), Web/Mobile, Digital Marketing and Retail Systems.Lead vendor selection for the new technologies, tools and capabilities. Define selection criteria, RFI, RFP, RFQ and make relevant vendor and product choicesAs the Personalization SME, spearhead all facets of Client Personalization InitiativesDrive innovation in the Personalization space (Cloud Adoption, Microservices, Omni-Channel and marketing platforms, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence)Demonstrate our Client values of Passion for Client Service, Innovation, Expertise, Balance, Respect for All, Teamwork, and Initiative.We’re excited about you if you have/are:Extensive knowledge and proven experience with existing Digital, E-Commerce and Web technologies and tools (E-Commerce Platforms, Digital Marketing Tools, Search, Personalization)Good knowledge ono Foundational understanding of how internet and web workso object oriented programingo RDBMS and modern NoSQL database designs and querying languageso Microservices and REST serviceso Expertise in the E-Commerce, Digital domains, Personalization and related technologieso Good knowledge/Exposure on Digital Marketing tools and technologiesExtensive experience in supporting large scale E-Commerce and Digital presenceHighly experienced in architecting modern architectures based on Cloud and MicroservicesExperience with next generation technologies to build digital experiences and capabilities is desired (AI, ML)Experience with one or more public clouds MS Azure, AWS, GCPExperience with modern microservices architecture using Service Mesh, API Gateways, Native Cloud Technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)Jack of All trades (Ability to have engaging and thoughtful discussions with large cross functional teams like Engineering, DevOps, Database, Networking, Infrastructure, Data, EDW as well as ability to deep dive into the specifics of a solution and ability to challenge and ask the right questions)Being obsessed with creating quality business and user facing solutions and living for face to face interactions with them to develop goals, strategies, and technology solutions.Seeking opportunities to leverage existing and new technologies to create Client’s technological future.Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)4+ years of experience as an Enterprise Architect10+ years of experience with Digital and E-Commerce space(E-Commerce, Web Architecture, Order Management Systems, Loyalty, Digital Marketing
