📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Mayvin is seeking a Communications Security Specialist (COMSEC) to assist the United States Marshals Service (USMS) COMSEC program office. This role will ensure COMSEC compliance in support of multiple programs. Must be a U.S. Citizen.Must have an active Top Secret clearance. Responsibilities:Conduct software updates on various Communications Security (COMSEC) devicesTrack COMSEC equipment using Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) and Distributed INFOSEC Accounting System (DIAS).Ship and receive COMSEC material using USPS, FedEx, and Defense Courier Service (DCS)Provide administrative support to the various branch offices within the USMS Divisions Prepare correspondence related to program issues for higher-level signatureUpdate automated records/database, as applicableProcess various types of incoming inquiries and documentationCollect, compile, and report data concerning weekly accomplishments
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree3+ years of experience with Communications Security Devices3+ years of experience tracking COMSEC equipment using Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) and Distributed INFOSEC Accounting System (DIAS)3+ years of experience shipping and receiving COMSEC material using USPS, FedEx, and Defense Courier Service (DCS)Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to change Preferred Qualifications:Previous Government Agency COMSEC principles and Crypto Keymat management policies and regulations
