📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Busy Event Venue looking for a Venue Booking Specialist to offer venue tours, answer inquiry phone calls and emails and book the property year round.
- Applicants with local address or intent to move to Palos Verdes Estates, CA area apply. Job requires close proximity to business. Long commute applicants are not ideal.
Looking for a friendly, well spoken, computer savvy individual who loves events and the hospitality industry.
Most office hours will happen during the week, but weekend (day and night) availability is required to offer tours as needed.
Pay is $25/hour, Health, Vision & Dental Insurance & 401K Matching Funds
Excellent Candidate For Consideration:Outstanding communication, detailed and organizational skills.Confident and assertive over the phone, with a great personality and warm & friendly speaking voiceReliable, Responsible & Well-OrganizedEasy to work withIndependent, yet a team playerA self-starter who will take initiative and get the job done!Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and willingness to learn new systems.Previous sales experience is a plus!
- Duties include (but are not limited to):*Daily calls to potential clientsResponding to leads with proposals reflecting client requestsClient correspondence including emails & written communicationsThe ability to develop new client relationships, as well as maintaining existing onesWorks with a sense of urgency and able to handle multiple clients at once while making them each feel cared forDetermined and part of a team working to see the company reach their yearly and long-term goalsAble to represent their product to the client in a knowledgeable manner
