McCarthy Building Companies is looking for skilled Fiber Technicians for our Renewable Energy projects. This will be to support a number of the utility scale solar plants we have.

Responsibilities
Installation of fiber splice enclosuresOutside plant fiber optic cable slicing, to include both loose tube fiber and ribbon fiberFusion SplicingUnidirectional and bidirectional fiber testingLight Level Testing, OLTSFiber troubleshooting and repair, test report generation.Coordinate daily crew activities and work scheduleMaintaining a safe and quality work site and locationMaintain Fiber equipment and toolsDaily inspection of all equipment assigned to crewMaintain daily production ratesEnsure work is conducted in a safe manner and according to company safety and OSHA practices
Requirements
3-5 years of experienced preferred but will consider less based on Fiber ExperienceKnowledge of industry testing equipment- OTDR, OLTS, Fluke, Etc.Category cable termination and testing a plusBICSI, CORNING, FOA CFOT, OSHA Certification a PlusTravel required
