Our current dental assistant has decided to stay at home with her new baby and we will miss her greatly. Responsibilities:Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, ensuring cleanliness and organizationAssist the dentist during dental procedures by handing them instruments and materialsTake dental x-rays as directed by the dentistProvide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures, anticipating their needs and ensuring patient comfortPerform basic dental procedures such as taking impressions, applying sealants, and making temporary crownsEducate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care instructionsMaintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic documentation systems (e.g., Dentrix)Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all timesSterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms following infection control protocolsAssist with scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and maintaining inventory of dental suppli

Requirements:Some exposure to dentistry required. At least one year of dental assistant experience preferred.High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious experience taking X-Rays ; familiarity with digital imaging systems is a plusKnowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instrumentsFamiliarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient privacyStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all agesAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to det
