Job Description
MEI has a job opportunity for a highly skilled and detail-oriented CAD Drafter to join our team. As a CAD Drafter, you will play a crucial role in translating conceptual MEP designs into detailed construction documents. Job Duties
Create accurate and detailed MEP drawings using AutoCAD.Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop comprehensive construction documents.Ensure that all drawings and models adhere to industry standards and company guidelines.Assist in the coordination with other disciplines i.e.. Mechanical, Architectural, Civil etc.Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project managers and clients.Stay updated with the latest software updates and industry best practices.
Minimum Qualifications
Proficiency in AutoCAD software. REVIT experience a plus.Proficiency in Microsoft Word.Previous experience working in an MEP firm or similar industry.Strong understanding of construction drawings to include but not all required: Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, ArchitecturalExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) concepts is a plus.Self-motivated, comfortable with ambiguity and motivated to work as a team.Top-notch organization, attention to detail combined with excellent written and oral communication skills.
