Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant at our Midlothian & Glen Allen, VA locations. The role involves providing medical supervision and guidance to patients participating in the Medi-Weightloss® program. Day-to-day tasks include conducting patient assessments, prescribing weight loss plans, monitoring patient progress, providing counseling and education, and collaborating with the medical team to ensure quality patient care.
QualificationsValid Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) licenseExperience in primary care, weight management, or related fieldStrong knowledge of nutrition and exercise principles preferredAbility to conduct patient assessments and develop personalized weight loss plansExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsEmpathy and compassion for patientsAttention to detail and ability to accurately record patient informationAbility to work collaboratively in a medical teamWillingness to learn and stay updated on weight loss research and best practices
