Desktop Support Technician - 224870
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are looking for a Desktop Support Technician to join our healthcare client in Fort Worth, TX on a 6-month contract to hire basis. This person will sit 100% onsite in Fort Worth and join a team that provides 24x7 support for the healthcare technology infrastructure. This entry-level position in Desktop Engineering involves developing and applying working knowledge in various IT disciplines to support technical infrastructure.
This position will train on the 1st shift and move to the 3rd shift after 30 days.
The first month will consist of training on the first shift Monday through Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm. Each day they will be paired with a senior team member and trained in various processes and procedures. After the first month, this person will transition to a Wednesday - Saturday 3rd shift from 10:30pm - 8:30am. (4x10 shifts)
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include providing IT support to customers on technology-related issues. Respond to calls/tickets to the Service Desk that require supporting desktop and laptop Windows based operating systems, computer hardware troubleshooting, application monitoring and support, Microsoft Office and Exchange troubleshooting, active directory group policy and security troubleshooting, system imaging utilizing enterprise level tools, network and telecommunications tier 1 level troubleshooting.
Required Skills/Experience
At least 6 months working in a 365/24 IT Service Desk or IT Customer Service call centerMUST be available to work ANY shift including overnight shift, weekend shift, holiday shift, and must be able to be on call

EPIC experience a plus
