A Day in The Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned
Drive adoption of model-based design for develop ing innovative robotic surgical solutions Develop c omputational m odels of robotic assemblies Assess model credibility , drive model improvement and validation Analyze performance , reliability and safety of the robotic assisted surgery system Build simulation framework s integratin g mu ltiple models Enhance and m aintain a suite of simulation and data analy sis tools Collaborate with internal customers determine customer needs and define model use cases Present findings and capabilities to cross-functional teams and stakeholders Contribute to design decisions , requirements breakdown, testing and ma nufacturing str

Bachelor’s Degree with 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 5 years of relevant experience. Candidates with less professional experience are encouraged to apply . The job le vel can be adjusted to experience.
Nice to Have
Experience with r obotics or electro-mechanical systems Proficient in m ultibody d ynamics and k inematics Experience in p arameter e stimation and h ardware c haracterization Expert in Matlab/Simulink, Python and/or other s oftware for s imulation and d ata a nalysis Knowledge in control theory and closed loop systems Proficient in f inite e lement m ethods for structural and t he rmal a nalysis of complex assemblies Expert in Ansys , LS-Dyna and/or other FEA Software Experience with d esign of e xperiment and t est f ixtures Knowledge in s erver / c loud based simulation frameworks and processing of data Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to c ollaborat e in projects with multi-site teams and across engineering discip lines Experience in m edical d evice Industry or other regulated Industry
