Director of Project Management - Pharma Advertising

I am excited to be partnered with my client, an independently-owned agency based in New York (offering fully remote flexibility), dedicated to offering top-tier products and services in Healthcare Advertising + Medical Communications. They have been hugely successful in recent years and are excited to bring on someone new to join and lead their project management team, in the form of a Director of Project Management with digital acumen and experience working with an agile process.

As Director of Project Management, you will be responsible for ensuring your team's projects meet deadlines and budgets, defining and communicating timelines, resources, and quality control. They manage teams, coordinate with external parties, and maintain comprehensive project knowledge, taking proactive steps to ensure timely, budget-friendly solutions. Responsibilities: Lead across a multi-million dollar client account, ultimately responsible for the delivery of high-quality deliverables that power client satisfaction, meet business requirements, and balance client and agency economics.Define delivery structure and overall vision on projects; Responsible for overseeing and directing multiple projects within a given client relationship.Owns project definition, scope monitoring, budgeting & timing at the account level.Drive process improvements and directing the activities of one or more project managers and senior project managers.Interface heavily with client senior executives, marketing, technical, and product management to assure that the solution is understood and addresses the customer's business requirements.Responsible for the accurate financial management of the portfolio of projects to which he/she is assigned.Digital acumen and experience working with an agile processManaging and mentoring junior staff

Qualifications: 10+ years applicable experience as a Project Manager in an agency settingConsumer, Patient and/or Caregiver experience is ideal, HCP doesn't hurtFully integrated (marketing, technical, digital, etc.) delivery experience is requiredLaunch experience is strongly desiredAgile experience is idealExpert at project and program managementSolid understanding of project management methodology, including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk and develop detailed work plans and specifications
