As a global leader in the wellness industry, we are seeking passionate individuals to join our team and contribute to our mission.Job Summary: As a Quality Control Senior Supervisor at Melaleuca, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for overseeing plant Quality Control Inspectional programs, ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and providing training and coordination for Quality Control (QC) activities within the plant. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining our high standards and regulatory compliance.Reasonable Accommodation: We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations to enable all qualified individuals to perform the essential duties of the job without posing a direct threat to themselves or others.Duties and Responsibilities:Essential:Implement, train, and execute all elements of Inspectional programs as defined by the QC Inspectional Program.Coordinate and execute current sampling plans and schedules.Assist in coordinating internal audits of the plant to ensure compliance with GMP laws.Support QC management during FDA and other regulatory agency inspections/audits.Develop documentation and collaborate with document control for plant QA procedures.Train for and conduct testing of plant bulk batches and ingredients for conformance to specifications.Coordinate the sample/ingredient retain program.Collaborate with QC management, purchasing, and QA auditors to ensure conformance to specifications of incoming labels, components, ingredients, and outside-manufactured products.Manage the maintenance of inspectional equipment and instruments in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations and GMP guidelines.Interact with Quality Control and plant operations associates to ensure GMP awareness and compliance.Additional:Perform other duties as assigned or needed.Oversee the destruction of outdated documents and retain samples according to guidelines.Supervision of Others:Provide direct supervision to QA coordinators and technicians, including determining employment status, conducting interviews, counseling, training, scheduling, resolving conflicts, coordinating with other departments, conducting employee meetings, and recommending wage increases.Minimum Qualifications:Essential:Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of industry Quality Assurance experience, including 2+ years supervising others OR 10+ years of industry Quality Assurance experience, including 5 years supervising others.Working knowledge of Federal Regulations regarding the manufacturing and distribution of drug products.Experience in component and finished product inspection and/or laboratory testing.Excellent verbal and presentation skills.Strong organizational and project coordination abilities.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks with efficiency and accuracy.Proficiency in data analysis, computer word processing, and spreadsheet skills.Additional:Ability to climb stairs.Join Our Team: If you are a dedicated professional with a passion for quality assurance and a commitment to excellence, Melaleuca: The Wellness Company invites you to apply for the position of Quality Control Senior Supervisor.
