Learning Enhancement Teacher 2024 - Junior Learning Community

Role Description/Criteria

We are a seeking teacher who is able to work in partnership with home group teachers to implement aspects of learning including:

working collaboratively (co-teach) with home group teachers to support learning across the learning communityleading small group instruction within the learning space where possibleadapting lessons for individual learners in conjunction with home group teachersworking collaboratively with the home group teachers to contribute to assessment of learners in the learning communityplanning, implementing, modelling, monitoring and evaluating learning, with the home group teacher and learners in the learning communityusing and promoting evidence-based teaching practices that engage and enhance student learning and achievementproviding feedback regarding learners’ achievement and growth to all stakeholders on a regular basisplanning for differentiation based on individual needs working with learners across the learning community when appropriate, analysing data to make judgement on where learners are, where they are going to and how they will get thereprovide evidence-based intervention according to the needs of learners in the learning community, based on data and in collaboration with Learning Diversity Leaderbeing familiar with the curriculum for the learning community they are working inattending weekly planning with home group teacherscollecting data on the learners they are working with to share with the home group teacherco-create PLP goals for any learners that they may be working with and plan accordinglypromoting school dispositions and Visible Learning principles within the teaching

Special Requirements

The successful applicant must be registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching. Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic Primary School, or willing to undertake accreditation, is preferred.
