📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Memphis Recovery Centers is hiring a licensed teacher in our youth residential addiction rehabilitation facility." Memphis Recovery Centers' Youth Program is a small residential facility that helps youth ages 14 years to 17 years with drug and alcohol addiction issues. MRC is licensed through Shelby County Schools, with a classroom size of 11 students or less with indivualized student lesson plans. Located in the midtown Memphis area." Monday thru Friday Day Shift (Full time or Part Time)
What You Will DoPlans curriculum and prepares lessons and other instructional materials to meet students' individual needs.Help create a fun and safe learning environment for the students through group projects, theme activities, etc.Motivate students and provide consistent reinforcement of learning skills in a fun and creative way.Participate in training, in-service activities, and weekly team meetings to discuss the student's progress.Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records for all students.Enter grades into the state system as directed.
