About The Opportunity

Drives liquefied gas-powered industrial truck equipped with lifting clamps, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move up to 4-ton paper rolls in warehouse, factory and from rail cars and trailers.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and proceduresMaintain high efficiency according to established rates during operation of the assigned equipment Ability to operate by moving levers and press pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus. Position clamps around rolls, and transport load to designated area. Ability to Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting device. Inventory materials on work floor, and supply workers with materials as needed. Record roll weight and footage on tags. Ability to lubricate truck or replace liquefied-gas tank.

Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired

Continuously sit, occasionally walk, stand, push/pull Frequently bend, squat, twist, kneel and crouch, use hands for grasping, use hands and foot for controls, Occasionally carry or lift 26 lbs. to 50 lbs, Continuously use head and neck in flex and rotating, Occasionally reach above shoulder level, Continuously be in dusty conditions, Continuously be around moving machinery, Occasionally operate hand tools, Continuously exposed to high noise levels, Frequently operate Roll Grab, Continuously wear protective toe footwear, eye protection and hearing protection

Qualifications Desired

High school diploma or equivalentIndustrial Truck Operator certificatePrevious industrial truck operator experienceComputer data entry and retrieval related experienceHandheld scanner experience

Compensation & Benefits
