Overview
Reports to the Engineering Manager. This is a summer intern position working in our Mayville/West Bend/Beaver Dam locations. Recent graduates encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Strong Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and proven ability to implement and teach Lean tools.Knowledge of costs and other techniques for maximizing the effectives of manufacturing.Possess strong ME & IE skill sets that will be utilized in value stream transformations.Working knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD software design tools to design material handling, manufactured parts, text fixtures and to create blue prints.Strong communication and project management skills.Able to design and think analytically and creatively. Able to operate on own initiative but also contribute as a team member working within the Manufacturing Team, Design Team, Test Team and other cross functional teams.
Qualifications
Coursework completed towards a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.Familiar with Microsoft Office products.Ability to work with minimum supervision.Excellent communications skills.Exceptional organizational skills.
