Azure Data Architect

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing data architectures for Databricks applications and managing scalable architecture, data models, and data pipelines. A strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL is essential for success in this role. Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement data architectures for Databricks applications using Azure Cloud Services.Architect data ingestion and ETL frameworks for processing structured and unstructured datasets in batch.Develop and maintain scalable architecture, database design, and data pipelines.Design and develop data lake and data warehouse solutions using Databricks and Azure Cloud Services.Collaborate with business and application stakeholders to implement data strategies, build data flows, and develop data models.Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and code review while adhering to design-level technical best practices.Monitor and optimize data performance in production environments.Develop and maintain data quality and data security standards.Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance data architecture.Organize and collaborate with key stakeholders to define functional and non-functional CPQ data requirements.Serve as the point of contact for Zones to discuss ETL approach and best practices.Understand and document data transformation requirements.Finalize ETL tools and effort estimates. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.15 years of experience in the IT industry, with at least 8 years of experience in data cloud programs.Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Architect in Analytics Solutions.Expertise in Databricks and other Azure Cloud technologies such as ADF, Azure Data Lake, and Python.Strong understanding of data security standards and data quality.Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to adapt to changing priorities.
