We are seeking a skilled DevOps Hardware Engineer to join our team in Bellevue, WA. This role involves setting up, configuring, maintaining, and debugging servers, switches, racks, and production nodes. The successful candidate will upgrade systems, develop automation tools, execute automated test suites, and work with release management and CI/CD tools.Key Responsibilities:Set up, configure, maintain, and debug servers, switches, racks, and production nodes.Upgrade a fleet of systems to the latest firmware and software configurations.Develop test automation tools and utilities to manage software and firmware upgrades and system configurations.Execute automated test suites, collect telemetry results, analyze logs, and visualize data for efficient monitoring and troubleshooting.Write clear and comprehensive documentation of processes and validation steps.Perform system administration tasks with Windows-based VMs and servers.Work with tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, Travis CI, and other release management and CI/CD tools.Report and track bugs to ensure efficient resolution and maintain system reliability.Qualifications:Proven experience in setting up, configuring, maintaining, and debugging hardware components including servers, switches, and racks.Experience in developing test automation tools and utilities for managing software and firmware upgrades.Proficiency in executing automated test suites, collecting telemetry results, analyzing logs, and visualizing data.Strong experience in system administration tasks, particularly with Windows-based VMs and servers.Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, Travis CI, or other release management and CI/CD tools.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to write clear documentation and validation steps.Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
