Metrie Anderco is looking for a Class C Truck Driver to join our Fullerton team!

What You Can Expect

As our Class C Truck Driver, you will be operating one of our bobtail trucks to pick up and deliver Metrie Anderco products to our customers. You’ll have your own designated truck and be able to go home every day.

Your duties include

Pre-trip and post-trip inspections of bobtail truck and when stopped enrouteAssist warehouse shipper in loading products into the truckOccasionally assist customer to unload products from trucks (requires some manual pushing/pulling)Review work orders for special instructionsFollow all state and national large truck driving safety regulations and standardsComplete documentation for mileage and cargo; keep track of mileage, fuel, and toll expenses; confirm inventory matches shipping documentsRefuel vehicle and check or replace oil as neededInspect truck daily for damage or maintenance problemsReport any accidents or vehicle issues encountered while driving to supervisors

Geographic Area: You will be driving from our 540 N Airpark Drive, Fullerton, CA location to nearby counties within a 120 mile radius including Los Angeles, Ventura, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, and San Diego. Your travel distance may be up to 150 miles round trip per day.

What background will make you successful?

You have your high school diploma or GEDYou have a valid driver’s license (no commercial driver’s license necessary!)You are comfortable driving large vehicles on streets and freewaysYou have a safe driving record (MVR)Ability to perform physical work (e.g. pushing/pulling up to 30 lbs.)You love to learn, work as a team, ask questions, and continue to grow.You have a “can-do” attitude and approachSafety is key to you

The specific base pay within the range will be contingent upon an individual's skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Furthermore, it is essential to highlight that our remuneration ranges are established based on the role, level, and location.
