The Metropolitan Council is the regional planning agency for the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area providing essential services to our region: transportation, wastewater treatment, growth and development of local communities, affordable housing programs, and regional park systems.
Join an award-winning wastewater industry leader in protecting our environment! The Metropolitan Council’s Environmental Services (ES) division operates and maintains the wastewater collection and treatment system in the Twin Cities metro area.
The Principal Contract Administrator administers construction contracts for capital improvement projects. This position oversees construction quality assurance services and coordinates work with operations staff and external parties affected by that construction.
Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in construction management for heavy industrial construction, preferably in wastewater collection and treatment projects.ORAssociate degree or two-year technical degree and at least seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in construction management for heavy industrial construction including at least two of these years in the areas of wastewater collection and treatment projects. ORHigh School Diploma/GED and nine (9) years of progressively responsible experience in construction management for heavy industrial construction including at least three of these years in the areas of wastewater collection and treatment projects.
License Requirements:Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Salary Range: $84,365 to $127,296 per year
