The Metropolitan Council is the regional planning agency for the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area providing essential services to our region: transportation, wastewater treatment, growth and development of local communities, affordable housing programs, and regional park systems.
Join an award-winning wastewater industry leader in protecting our environment! The Metropolitan Council’s Environmental Services (ES) division operates and maintains the wastewater collection and treatment system in the Twin Cities metro area.
This position is eligible for hybrid (remote and onsite) teleworking.
This position provides advanced administrative and technical support as well as customer service to support the Sewer Availability Charge (SAC) unit in the Council's ES finance office. Requires high attention to detail with administrative/technical duties to include review building plan submittals for completeness and accuracy, electronic filing, complex database work, determination charges and credit estimates, and property and information research.
Minimum Requirements:Any of the following combinations of experience (providing complex administrative support in a medium-to-large organization) and completed education (degree field of study in Business Administration, Communications/Writing, Construction, or related field):--Bachelor's degree with one (1) year of experience--Associate degree with three (3) years of experience--High school diploma/GED with five (5) years of experience
Salary Range: $61,755 - $93,226 annually
