📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
MITER Brands™ is a residential window and door manufacturer that provides a leading portfolio of window and door brands for the new construction and replacement segments. MITER Brands also known as Milgard and MI Windows & Doors, is one of the nation’s largest suppliers of vinyl windows and patio doors, with plants across the country. We are currently looking for an IT Intern. In this role you will accomplish the key task of unifying monitoring and communication across a global team (US West and East Coast as well as India).
Responsibilities
Learn the interconnection of the network and infrastructure as well as how we monitor and alert on key services. This will include but may not be limited to the following items; Service Now, New Relic, Solarwinds, Site24x7, Icinga, Whatsupgold, Authentication, Scripting, SSH, Cisco, Vmware, Nutanix and AzureKey focus will be assisting in the transition of our monitoring and alerting structure from a distributed team structure to a consolidated team structure and identifying and proposing solutions for any gaps in monitoring.
Requirements
Working towards degree completion in IT, or related field
