Skills Required
15+ years of experience designing, building, deploying, operating, scaling, and evolving distributed systems and high-volume transaction applications in a 24/7 environment.Strong architecture and design skills with a track record of architecting and delivering distributed, cloud-based microservices, event-driven architectures and RESTful API s.Lead the technical vision and direction of the system, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. Excellent communication skills with an ability to right-level conversations for the audience.Evaluate and adopt new technologies and tools to improve the system s performance, reliability and scalability.Mentor and coach other engineers on technical skills, design principles, code reviews, etc. Work hands-on on POCs Work hands-on on project implementation with other engineers10+ years of experience in building Point of Sale systems from scratch.8+ years of experience in either Java (with Spring Boot or similar frameworks), Golang, Python, Swift/Objective-C, Javascript, React, Ember, SQL etc.5+ years of experience building large scale experiences across Mobile and Web.Operations experience managing, deploying and maintaining enterprise large scale solutions and drive operational excellence across the organization.Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or customers.5+ years of experience on Cloud Native technologies on AWS, Google Cloud Platform or Azure with 2+ experience in Google Cloud Platform and/or Kubernetes specific technologies.5+ years of experience in building highly performant large-scale data and storage systems based on Cloud technologies like CloudSQL, DynamoDB, Cloud Spanner, S3 etc.2+ years of experience in Machine Learning and/or Data Intelligence and leveraging these to build end customer experiences.Experience leading or contributing to multiple simultaneous product development efforts and initiatives.
