Traveling Superintendent - Big Box Retail Construction

Looking for an experienced construction superintendent with at least 5 years of experience in commercial construction with Big Box Retail project experience to join a top General Contractor in the Southeast.Client DetailsClient is a renowned General Contractor that focuses on a variety of retail construction projects from Big Box to Fuel Stations. DescriptionPrimary site leader of all subordinate superintendents, subcontractors and suppliers.Establish project plan, maintain weekly progress and pulse of project.Manage and coordinate all job site operations.Manage labor and subcontractors to ensure work quality and on-time delivery of services.Maintain positive relationship with Owners, Design Consultants, and PM's.Coordinate with local jurisdiction inspectors and utility company representatives to ensure compliance.Strictly enforce Safety Program and manage the Quality Control ProgramPrepare and maintain detailed short-term schedules.Manage accurate invoice payment process and financial management of the project costs.Resolve day to day field issues.Prepare daily reports with all manpower and significant activities.Profile5+ years of experience working in the construction industry as a superintendentAvailable to travel throughout the Eastern region of the country from Florida to PennsylvaniaExperience with the construction of Big Box Retail projects from the ground upExperience with site work Strong verbal and written communication skillsDegree in Construction Management or related field, preferredJob OfferCompetitive Compensation Package depending on experience15-20 days of PTO401k plan with company match Car allowance/ company vehicle Milestone bonus incentives End of year bonus Life insurance policy Generous maternity and paternity leave
