Coordinator, Communications and Marketing Position Description:The Coordinator of Communications and Marketing reports to the Chief Operating Officer. They are responsible for assisting the organization and its subsidiaries in the communications, marketing, and public relations plans. Education/Experience Requirements:Bachelorβs degree in Marketing/Communications or similar degree preferred. Three (3) yearsβ experience in marketing and communications required with additional knowledge within a health care environment preferred. Position Requirements (Skills & Abilities):Ability to work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with co-workers and other organizations.Ability to use sound judgement and decision-making skills.Skilled at organizing, planning and prioritizing work; detail oriented.Solid problem-solving skills using both critical and creative thinking to solve problems as they arise.Possess strong oral and written communication skills, while using active listening skills.Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (PhotoShop, InDesign, and Illustrator), Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM) Essential Job Functions:Performs duties in an ethical and honest manner.Coordinate the distribution of 3-5 weekly e-newletters.Maintain basic function of the organization and its subsidiaries websites.Assist in developing and following marketing plans for the organization and its subsidiaries. This could include a weekly newsletter, social media and external marketing opportunities. Provide competitive research and analysis support.Develops and maintains relationships with clients and business partners.Identify and research new markets, products and programs.Other duties as assigned by the Chief Operating Officer.
