We are expanding our business in the US and North America.Job Summary The Asst Supply Planning Manager will oversee and execute the inventory planning for Vacuum Cleaner category. The Asst Manager will manage the PSI process and collaborate with Demand Planning, Sales and PM to order inventory based on final monthly forecast. They will build relationships with overseas factories to gather information about lead times, the future of the portfolio, and track incoming inventories to minimize aged inventory. The Asst Manager will also be the Supply Chain liaison for the Shipment Manager in China for all categories. They will also be the owner of Supply Chain’s inbound/outbound forecast, out of stock report, incoming priority containers and purchase requisition tracking for all categoriesEssential Job ResponsibilitiesLead Bi-Weekly Purchase Plan meeting for Vacuum Cleaner category to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize risk with PM, PD and Sales teams. Review current month sell-in to create weekly Purchase Plan. Review future PRs and make decisions to ship or hold depending on current inventory position.Key Contact for overseas Vacuum Cleaner team in charge of Amazon sales and inventory. Work to minimize aged inventory and assist in allocating inventory to warehouses based on regional demand.Key participant in the Monthly S&OP process as per the monthly cadence.Review monthly shipment plan with overseas Shipping Manager to avoid OOS and aged risk for all categories.Assist warehouse team by creating warehouse inbound/outbound forecast to measure space utilization.Identify incoming containers as priority for each warehouse each weekOwner of Supply Planning Risk Management (Out of Stock items) and PR TrackingOwner of allocation of shared inventory to different customersOther Duties assignedQualifications5+ years of experience in Supply Planning and/or Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or related field.Fluent in written and spoken English with excellent verbal and written communicationComputer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ERP systems, statistical forecasting tools)Business acumen and partnershipProblem solving skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentInternal and external customer service orientationComfortable dealing with ambiguity and uncertaintyProblem solving and decision-makingCultural awareness and sensitivityBachelor’s degree in a business-related fieldBase: 80-110K, Bonus 10%. 401K 5% match plus Medical, Dental, VisionMidea America Corp. is an equal opportunity employer.
