Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Prepares illustrations and writes text for manuals and other documents dealing with the installation, operation, maintenance, and/or repair of Midmark's products for consumers, service technicians, distributors, dealers, and/or Midmark's own Technical Service department.
ESSSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES
Produce concise, professional, written instructions for user guides, setup sheets, service manuals and related documents. Produce clear, readable, technical illustrations for user guides, setup sheets, service manuals and related documents. Maintain content of Technical Library web site. Research engineering changes and product history through Bills of Materials, Engineering drawings, CO's and other product documentation. Meet our responsibilities within Midmark’s change control process (Agile).

Service video production Poster and miscellaneous art production Miscellaneous writing tasks
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
2-year degree in Technical Writing and/or Technical Illustration and/or 2 years Tech Com experience and/or 5 years relevant product experience.
COMPETENCY/SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Attention to detail Correct grammar and ability to write for different reading levels Ability to interact productively with people at all levels of the organization Ability to function without close supervision Ability to work as part of a team Proficiency in MS Office software Proficiency in our graphics and desktop publishing software Proficiency in Agile Familiarity with content management systems beneficial Familiarity with HTML beneficial
