What’s the role?
As Financial Administrator you will be responsible for a variety of transactional duties and be the complete local finance function. This will include managing both the purchase and sales ledgers from start to finish, processing and raising invoices, dealing with supplier statement reconciliations and queries, processing payments and collecting cash from businesses and consumers, reconciling bank accounts and taking the accounts up to trial balance, as well as ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
On a day-to-day basis you will be reporting to a local Office Manager in the USA, but on financial matters will take direction from the Financial Controller in the UK to help ensure compliance and that the company’s results are reliably reported at Group level.

Recording daily financial transactions and completing the posting processReconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and petty cashPrepare and send invoices to customersProcess accounts payable and receivable, follow up overdue paymentsMaintaining robust records, and creating financial reportsAssist and advise with payroll, tax filings, and auditsMaintain and file financial documents and recordsComply with federal, state, and local financial and tax laws and regulationsCommunicate with internal and external parties regarding financial mattersPerform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned
Your Background and Experience
Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experienceProficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and an ERP system (SAP B1 an advantage)Knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and proceduresGood knowledge of relevant local tax and compliance requirementsAbility to prepare and analyse financial reports and statementsAccuracy and attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to handle confidential and sensitive informationReliable, trustworthy and hardworking
