Our client located on the northwest side of Indianapolis is looking for a Financial Analyst that will be involved in various ad hoc reporting and analysis as well as transactional accounting. This position performs monthly close responsibilities, budgeting/forecasting and reporting for an assigned location.
Responsibilities:Responsible for the preparation, processing and accuracy of month end and year end journals, scorecards, and reportsPrepare and communicate daily and weekly KPI, labor and plant process reportingAnalyze and model changes in product design, raw materials, overhead, and manufacturing methods for effects on production costsLead weekly yield loss reporting process including completing inventory adjustments, trending yield performance and investigating large losses.Responsible for analyzing monthly overhead spend by department and communicating changes to various stakeholdersProvide comprehensive financial analysis and models for requests depending on the assigned department (product development, customer analysis, competitive analysis, pricing, etc.).Active involvement and participation in plant continuous improvement
Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required 3+ years of accounting of financial experience; 1-2 years of cost accounting experience preferredKnowledge of financial systems and general accounting conceptsExperience with SAP or other software tools preferred
