Job Description
This position is available on 1st shift (7am-3pm Monday-Friday)
The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring the quality of all products produced meet agreed upon standards and expectations.

Duties And Responsibilities
Use a variety of quality inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, hardness testing, UPC scanners, paint thickness testers and other lab equipmentOperate CMM and Vision System Inspection equipmentComplete Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMR’s) daily, as neededEnsure packaging requirements are met by completing daily packaging conformance auditsComplete dimensional inspections of incoming raw materialAbility to navigate document repository web page to locate inspection reports, blue prints and other quality documentsDevelop and maintain effective working relationships within team environmentPerform basic shop floor math, such as fraction to decimal conversion, arithmetic and units of measure conversionProblem solving abilities, interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage interruptions is requiredConsciously abide by all safety policies and procedures to create a safe working environment
Education And Experience
High School or GED diploma requiredOne (1) year of previous quality technician experience requiredUnderstanding of metrology fundamentalsBasic understanding of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft OutlookExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and as a part of a teamAbility to read blueprints
