AWS Architect w/NIST, HIPAA

Mindbank Consulting Group has an immediate need for an AWS Architect to provide expertise for a federal contract consisting of a large eco-system of highly integrated applications. This 6+-month contract is fully remote. This position requires a specialized combination of skills and experience, so please refer to the qualifications BEFORE you apply. Candidates must be US Citizens or Permanent Residents. This position is fully remote within the United States; candidates should be (preferably) within EST/CST time zones.Salary is up to $145K and is based on each candidate's skills and experiences.NO staffing companies, bench sales/recruiters. AWS Architect Responsibilities: Provide architectural guidance, build, and standardize the AWS implementation for a large eco-system of applications for federal contract that is looking to re-imagine their applications on AWS.Build/Deploy applications within AWS using a hybrid approach (on premise Database – AWS Applications and vice-versa) of new and legacy components (e.g. new front-end/services with legacy database or other mix-and-match approaches) to best fit budget/scope/timeline constraints.Set up a functional model for seamless script promotion (CI/CD pipeline) from development to test, UAT, and production.Establish infrastructure using scripts, adhering to best practices, and incorporating AWS suggested templates for compliance with standards like FedRAMP, NIST 800-53 and HIPAA. AWS Architect Qualifications: Candidates MUST meet these requirements for this federal contract. 3 – 5 years’ experience working as an AWS Architect.Experience with migrating on-premises applications to AWS.Experience with building/deploying applications within AWS using a hybrid approach of new and legacy components (e.g. new front-end/services with legacy database or other mix-and-match approaches) to best fit budget/scope/timeline constraints.Capable of establishing infrastructure using scripts, adhering to best practices, and incorporating AWS suggested templates for compliance with standards like NIST 800-53 and HIPAA.Be proficient in setting up a functional model for seamless script promotion (CI/CD pipeline) from development to test, UAT, and production.Excellent communication skills.
