📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Role: Automation TesterLocation: Irvine, CA (Onsite)
Roles and Responsibilities ● Design and implement test cases to validate the functionality, performance, and user experience of mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.● Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for mobile applications using industry-standard tools and technologies.● Execute automated tests across different devices, screen sizes, and operating system versions to ensure compatibility and consistency.● Perform root cause analysis of issues identified during testing and work with development teams to prioritize and resolve them.● Implement and maintain continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate the testing and deployment of mobile applications.● Monitor and analyze test results, identifying trends and patterns to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.● Stay updated on emerging trends, tools, and best practices in mobile automation testing, sharing knowledge and insights with the team.● Document test processes, procedures, and findings, ensuring clear communication and knowledge transfer within the organization.
Experience & Skills ● Significant years of experience in system software design, development integration, and automation, preferably in the semiconductor industry.● Proven communication and collaboration, with the ability to work effectively in close knit cross-functional teams.● Solid experience in development lifecycles, testing methodologies, and QA processes including Quality Release Criteria.● Proficient in creating test cases, automation DevOps pipelines.● Experienced in using automation infrastructure tools, and in Appium(Python) /PyTest/Selenium etc.● Strong knowledge and experience in Linux Environment
Qualifications: BE, BCA, MCA. MTech, MSc and BSc degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, other related technical degrees
