Copywriter

SummaryMirror Matter is seeking a professional advertising copywriter to join one the Creative Team at one of Western New York’s fastest growing agencies. Candidates must have at least three (3) years of experience writing professionally and be prepared for a fast-paced, demanding and highly rewarding work environment. The copywriter will report directly to the agency’s Creative Director of Copy and serve a pivotal role in the conception, ideation, execution and optimization of comprehensive brand campaigns. In addition, this position requires an ability to shift gears, tone and voice quickly on a daily basis as you write everything from press releases and sell sheets to lists of new brand names and blog content.

ResponsibilitiesExecute a multitude of copywriting tasks on a daily basis. Engage in insightful conversations and brainstorming sessions with the Creative Team as well as Clients. Work and communicate directly with Mirror Matter Creative Team. Assist the Creative Director of Copy with daily copy tasks as well as long-term deliverables. Interface with clients as a team member or solo during Reflection sessions, take detailed notes and be able to translate information gleaned into compelling, creative content. Assist in new business efforts with proposal drafting and presentation creation.Proof outgoing deliverables on a daily basis.

Requirements3-5 years of professional experience; agency experience is preferred. Work within Google Documents. Knowledge of Asana PM and Sprout Social software a plus.Awareness of industry trends, applications and technologies.Extremely strong verbal and written communicator.Ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines.Bright, proactive, attentive, conscientious.
