Company Description Mitchell’s Drug Stores are located in Neosho, Missouri. We consist of two community pharmacies, a cost-plus pharmacy, and a closed door long-term care pharmacy.
Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Pharmacist at Mitchells Drug Store located in Neosho, MO. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for dispensing prescribed medications, providing pharmaceutical information to healthcare professionals, and ensuring compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations. You will also be responsible for managing inventory, counseling patients on medication usage and side effects, and collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize patient care.
Qualifications Current pharmacy license in the state of MissouriStrong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and ethicsExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensingAbility to effectively communicate and collaborate with healthcare professionals and patientsExperience with pharmacy inventory management systemsKnowledge of medication interactions and contraindicationsStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple prioritiesBachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD degreePrevious experience in a retail pharmacy setting is preferred
