About The Role

As a Product Configuration Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the transfer of knowledge of using our products as well as the accurate and efficient configuration for various customer use cases. You will support business requirements coordination and maintenance of the Mitsubishi Logisnext Connect Technologies product configuration process. Your role will involve working closely with dealers, end use customers as well as various internal teams including sales, customer onboarding, operations, product management, engineering, and customer support, to ensure that training materials exist and products are configured according to customer specifications and requirements.

What You Will Do

Own the “first 90-day” experience for end-user customers including defining success while monitoring, measuring and improving adoption and perceived value. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Connected Technologies product portfolio and possible configurations while becoming the resident product expert. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information on product specifications, features, options and understand how to set up and configure products to deliver against customer intent and needs. Work with internal resources to create, maintain and deploy product configuration documentation, training aids and tools to help ensure the best possible outcomes from product adoption and use. Know how Connected Technologies products are installed and ensure that all product configurations adhere to quality standards and compliance regulations. Identify opportunities for streamlining and improving the product set up, training and configuration process. Have a general understanding of competitor products and what’s possible in terms of configuration or customization of their related products. Conduct thorough reviews and validation of product configurations to ensure accuracy and alignment with customer expectations. Collaborate with quality control teams to address any issues that may arise. Perform quality assurance testing and raise any problems to product management. Provide support to the customer service and technical support teams by offering insights into product configurations, troubleshooting problems, and assisting with customer inquiries related to configuration options. Work with the dealer channel in a “train the trainer model,” ensuring they are well-versed in the product use and configuration process and capable of understanding necessary configuration, set-up and support to deliver against customer requirements. Develop, maintain and communicate product training to ensure successful knowledge transfer to dealers, end-use customers and internal team members alike.

Where

Hybrid position with 40% - 80% travel; primarily within the U.S. and some international.

What You Need To Have

Bachelor's Degree 2-7 years’ experience in product configuration, product management or solution engineering roles. Prior experience configuring a combination of software and hardware devices working in tandem for use within a vehicle framework is a must. The role requires meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate product configurations and avoid potential errors. Ability to analyze complex requirements and translate them into appropriate product configurations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with different teams and effectively convey technical information. Customer focused mindset with a commitment toward providing the best customer experience with our products, our people and our company. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to handle unexpected challenges. An insatiable curiosity, hunger to continuously learn and a can-do attitude who is always looking to improve the status quo.

What Would Be Nice To Have

Experience in material handling, telematics or driver assisted technologies a plus.
