Role: Analytics ConsultantLocation: Charlotte, NC / Dallas, TX / Phoenix/Chandler, AZ / San Francisco Bay Area, CA (Hybrid model – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote each week from the start, No scope for 100% or initial remote work at all)Contract: 18+ months
Job Description: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Analytics. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Analytics challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
Skills: Perform highly complex activities related to creation, implementation, and documentationUse highly complex statistical theory to quantify, analyze and manage marketsForecast losses and compute capital requirements providing insights, regarding a wide array of business initiativesUtilize structured securities and provide expertise on theory and mathematics behind the dataManage market, credit, and operational risks to forecast losses and compute capital requirementsParticipate in the discussion related to analytical strategies, modeling and forecasting methodsIdentify structure to influence global assessments, inclusive of technical, audit and market perspectivesCollaborate and consult with regulators, auditors and individuals that are technically oriented and have excellent communication skills
Specific tasks: Design, develop, deploy, and enhance Power BI dashboards that can provide Commercial Banking product recommendations to relationship managers as well as gather disposition/user feedback Assist in data collection, data wrangle, data preprocessing, and data engineering tasks to support data scientists in developing and deploying AI/Client models. Interface with Technology team to conform code, dashboard, data sources to production grade standards May assist with Azure code refactoring and deployment
Skillsets required: Power BI, SQL, Python, PySpark
Desired skills: Azure, GCP, Commercial Banking data and operations experience
