We have an immediate opening for an Account Coordinator, Social Media in our New York, NY office. Our Social Media team is composed of creative and analytical minds with go-getter personalities. We have a love for all things hospitality - culinary, hotels, travel and more. The right candidate is ready to learn and work on multiple projects while client-facing.
ResponsibilitiesOffer behind-the-scenes creative and logistical support to client team(s)Assist the team with support related tasks such as copywriting, community management, pulling analytics, photoshoots, creating content calendars and coordinating with influencers Provide editing and proofreading supportConduct research, reporting, influencer list building, and drafting presentations/decksAssist with community management, reports, influencer deliverables, paid social ads, and decksAdvocate for the client, and proactively engage on their channels in a timely manner; engage with influencersResearch and help develop strategic partnerships and creative campaigns As needed, assist in coordinating (and attending) events on behalf of clientsProvide general support to the Account Strategists on all client initiatives developed in the marketing campaign
Requirements1 year of work or relevant internship experience Associates or BA/BS in Communications, Marketing or relevant field preferred but not requiredHighly motivated to learn new things and improve your skillsAdaptable, solution-oriented, and resourceful when tackling challenges and obstaclesExceptional organizational skills and strong writing capabilitiesMust be able to manage time and deadlines on a daily and weekly basis Knowledgeable in Google Business applications, Microsoft Office Suite and other platforms such as Adobe, Canva and social scheduling sites in order to produce report results and create tools and templates for client work Can capture content using mobile devicesAn overall passion for the hospitality industries - restaurants, travel/destinations/hotels, wine & spirits. Must be able to communicate in a clear and professional manner
Salary Range for this position: $45,000 - $48,000 Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa. MMGY Global is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
