The Marketing team is looking for passionate and dynamic Web Specialist to support the delivery of digital content, for the next generation experiences for our WillScot external websites and internal associate facing applications and websites. You will directly support the Marketing team to manage the website to improve user experience and drive marketing KPI’s.

As a Web Specialist, you’ll be helping to manage website content for WillScot as we transition to a new web platform in 2024. We’ll look to you to improve user experience and support marketing goals and objectives to improve page engagement and lead conversions.

Essential Functions

Update content on website(s) using CMS (Contentful)} Tests web pages as it's developed to ensure functionality desired look and feel. Support business stakeholders and implements improvements in web functionality, content, navigation, and UI design elements. Serves as an informal functional tester for web UI design projects. Utilizes technical knowledge to produce achievable and efficient solutions. Resolve technical issues or bugs on the website. Works in partnership with marketing team, cross-departmental teams, business stakeholders and external vendors. Works in partnership with marketing team, cross-departmental teams, business stakeholders and external vendors. Provides user interface (UI) design services, including designing highly usable web page/site layout, navigation, and content elements while maximizing system performance. Translates business requirements and user needs into UI designs. Designs mockups and prototypes in Figma and or Contentful as needed.Has intermediate knowledge of user-centered design principles, visual design, user behavior, and interactions.Considers every aspect of the user's experience, with business and marketing goals, to coordinate and deliver design, prototype, and research documentation.Analyzes data and user feedback to make key design decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Digital Design, Graphic Design, Digital Product Design, Digital Marketing, UI/UX Design

5-7 year’s experience as a website coordinator or specialist in an agency or corporate marketing environment. Demonstrated creation of UX deliverables (Wireframes, prototypes, site maps, user flows) required. Digital Portfolio of design work – Please provide URL in application. Ability to synthesize and articulate complex concepts targeted to multiple audiences and modalities.

Required Skills And Abilities

Results oriented; drive and desire to build a design career (marketing, user experience design); Time management skills, in addition to:

Experience using Contentful (or other similar CMS), Storybook (React Native UI), and Bynder (or other DAM) Technical experience to troubleshoot and resolves issues for web and mobile app Experience with web design software such as Figma, Sketch, XD and Adobe Creative Creative Cloud Ability to synthesize and articulate complex concepts targeted to multiple audiences. Effectively communicates verbal, written, and designed content. Experience in website design & development and design for enterprise-wide digital solutions
