In this Production Planner role, you will have a critical support role in our Advanced Thermal Systems team, as we work closely with our customers to define the future of commercial electric vehicles. You will lead the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) activities for product lines within the Advanced Thermal Systems business unit. You will establish, manage, review and maintain production schedules for assigned work areas to meet customer demand. This hybrid role is based in Lawrenceburg, TN and will report to the Advanced Thermal Systems Materials Manager.

This is a hybrid role, which will require three (3) days onsite and two (2) days working from your home office on a regular cadence.

Key Responsibilities

Ownership of SIOP process for all Advanced Thermal Systems production lines and will lead regular reviews with cross-functional teamDevelop and execute material strategies that meet customer requirements, company targets and creates stability across the supply chainMonitor market trends and identify critical supply disruption points in upstream value chain and formulate an effective strategy for mitigationEngage frequently with customers, suppliers, and teams across the companyDemand Management of finished goods inventory and replenishment planning.Manage component, supplies and logistics to assure that daily production schedules are maintained. Utilize SAP and other resources to track customer requirements and work with the Buyers to facilitate on-time delivery of components and on-time shipping performance to customers. Maintain inventory levels for productive material consistent with production schedules and management directivesActively involved with cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracyPropose and support implementation of cost reduction and delivery improvement projectsComply with the Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies Complete special projects and assignments as required

Required Education & Qualifications

BS degree in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Logistics, Operations, Business, Accounting or other technical field is preferredMinimum of two (2) years of Production Planner experience working with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software; experience with SAP is preferredGood interpersonal and collaboration skillsAbility to handle multiple projects effectivelyStrong analytical and organizational skillsComputer literate, with Excel skills/abilitiesUnderstanding of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 and how it relates to the materials group is beneficial
