Job Description
The Snowsports Pro provides a positive, fun, and safe environment for skiers/snowboarders to build skills. Snowsports pros are responsible for the customer experience during lessons and being ambassadors for Mohawk Mountain whenever they are in uniform. Reports to Snowsports Supervisor, Snowsports Director.
Requirements
Essential Duties
Instructs customers on the skills of skiing/snowboardingTeaches skier etiquette and safe on-hill behaviorFriendly and helpful host to mountain guestsAssists with the set-up and take-down of learning center zonesOther duties as assigned by the Director of Snowsports
Qualifications
Is able to effectively communicate with customersIs able to ski and/or snowboard at an intermediate level or above
Special Considerations
Must be able to work for extended periods outside in all weather conditionsMust be able to stand and work for extended periodsMust work weekends and holidaysMust be able to bend and lift up to 50lbsMust own appropriate ski/snowboard gear
