Product Development Project Manager

Role Overview: **Must live or relocate to Scottsdale for Hybrid office work*** We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Manager of Sourcing, Product Development, & E-commerce Project Management to join our team at New Ocean Ventures. This pivotal role involves overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from sourcing through launch, in a fast-paced consumer product environment. We re-design and invent new consumer products, then source and work with manufactures to mass produce, then we launch on Amazon, our own websites, and 3P marketplace like Etsy, Ebay, and more. We need someone that’s familiar in the space, but there’s room for growth and mentorship. You must be a go-getter, driven, hungry, and extremely organized. Project managers that have not only owned timelines and tracking deliverables but actually owned many of the deliverables are encourage to apply. *You MUST have extreme attention to detail to be successful in role*

Key Responsibilities:Product Sourcing and Development:Identify and negotiate with overseas manufacturers to source high-quality products (Alibaba, networking, and minimal possible travel to China)Coordinate, monitor and and manage product prototypes and samples, ensuring they meet our standards and specifications.Oversee all stages of product development, ensuring timelines and quality benchmarks are met.Logistics and Supply Chain Management:Coordinate logistics from manufacturers to our warehouse, ensuring efficient and cost-effective transportation.Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory management and shipping processes.E-commerce and Market Presence:Project Manage product launch activities across various e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Etsy, eBay, and other marketplaces. Experience preferred but not required, must be super-fast and smart learner with highly organized tendencies.Project manage key post-sourcing stages, ensuring a seamless transition from development to market.Team Leadership and Project Management:Coordinate with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring all departments align with project goals.Project manage key initiatives, tracking progress, owning deliverables, and addressing challenges proactively.

Qualifications:Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a consumer product company.3+ Years experience working with manufacturers and a solid understanding of the e-commerce landscape.Excellent organizational and project management skills.Ability to wear many hats and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Bachelors' Degree preferred
