POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT
As a member of our HR team, the Best Practices Manager will have an opportunity to lead, strategize, influence, and enable business operations to achieve results through the effective management of policy and compliance. This individual will coach and mentor HR team members and business leaders on appropriate HR compliance solutions, both proactively and tactically. This role will be expected to work cross functionally between HR Centers of Expertise (COEs), Field HR, Operations, Legal, Accounting, Finance, Safety, Risk, and other functions as needed.
Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
Develop and deliver HR Compliance programs, policies, and projects, bringing together and influencing cross-functional teamsWork closely with Moss Legal team to identify and remediate compliance gaps and follow up with relevant stakeholders to closureMonitor, track and communicate regulatory changes that may impact compliance requirements and business processes, partnering with stakeholders to assess risks and implement requisite controlsConduct periodic and cyclical audits to assess the effectiveness of HR programs in meeting compliance standardsAdminister all required regulatory leaves of absence, in collaboration with the broader HR team and business leaders, and in alignment with Company policyManage immigration compliance programs, partnering with external counsel on visa processing, to ensure all employees have legal work authorizationManage required worksite poster compliance programLead prospective vendor evaluation and selection process, in partnership with internal stakeholders, and proactively manage relationship with current vendorsGather buy-in for, craft, and maintain enterprise-wide policies and process documents that support HR programs and initiatives, including the Employee HandbookManage and audit process for Fair Labor Standards Act and EEOC job classifications, and ensure required Equal Employment Opportunities Commission (EEOC) reporting (EE0-1 Component 1) is submitted timelyPartner in the development and execution of change management initiatives, which may include development and execution of training materials and accompanying documentationPerform other duties as assigned
Education And Work Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Regulatory Affairs, Human Resources, Business Management, or related fields, preferredCandidate must have at least 5+ years combined related experience in regulatory/compliance field and/or investigations. Experience in policy development, compliance, risk management, labor relations and human capital are preferred. Experience with developing and delivering Compliance programs essentialExperience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization to act without having a direct reporting relationshipAbility to quickly adapt to changing priorities and generate innovative solutions; Demonstrate and maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalismProficiency in HRIS systems; Workday HCM and Absence experience preferredMust be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications. Should have good comfort level with integrating multiple applications to streamline operations through technology solutionsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills
