Director of Identity and Access Management / Higher Education
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
A major university campus is looking for a Director of Identity and Access Management. You'll be responsible for leading the university's efforts in managing digital identities and ensuring access controls are in place. You'll oversee the creation and management of university IDs across the campus and guarantee secure access.
This role is 10% on-site in Los Angeles and open to fully remote candidates who are willing to come into office infrequently.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in security (cybersecurity, computer science, information technology) 5+ years of experience leading teams in a management or leadership role In-depth knowledge of directory services, SSO technologies, MFA, identity governance and administration, and privileged access management. Experience developing and executing IAM strategies Experience in higher education a plus but not required
