Enterprise Application Architect

Position: Enterprise Architect Application Location: Harrisburg Pennsylvania 17102 (1 days/week - Tuesday is mandatory for brainstorming sessions) Term: Contract Duration: 6 MonthsThe enterprise architect focuses on application architecture and is a leader for enterprise application design and development. This role sets enterprise architecture application standards, guidelines and principles across the Agency. The enterprise architect – application leads efforts to conceptualize new and/or enhanced enterprise applications. The enterprise architect - application provides guidance to application architects in the Agency. Required Skills & ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems or Engineering preferred10+ years of IT-related experience; or the equivalent combination of knowledge, training, and experience.Knowledge of The Open Group Architecture Framework; Knowledge of Project Management Body of Knowledge; Knowledge of Loan Servicing; Relevant certifications preferred.Experience with architectural abstractions, integration and design patterns.Experience in creating and defining new architectural models and explaining complex problems and situations.Hands-on experience designing, building and supporting high-performing AWS applications.Expert understanding of distributed computing and development experience such as Simple Object Access Protocol, Representational State Transfer, Java 2 Platform Enterprise Edition.Working knowledge of Application Program Interface Management.Expert understanding of AWS architecture.Expert knowledge of Web Services.Working knowledge of Software as a Service, Platform as a Service, Infrastructure as a Service, Desktop as a Service.Excellent written and verbal skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
