📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Our client, a global broadcast media and entertainment company, is actively looking for a Junior Video Editor to join their team in Los Angeles! This role is onsite 3 days a week so local candidates are required.

This Junior Video Editor will produce highly creative content, contribute to brainstorming, and edit video content and motion graphics for various creative projects of different lengths and sizes. This person will be on the company's in-house social creative team and the ideal candidate will have strong post-production chops and be able to prioritize against deadlines!
ResponsibilitiesEdit low-to-mid-level multiplatform video projects with varying lengths and sizesEdit custom motion graphics for social contentSupport the creation of series’ graphics templates for cross-team use and distributionMaintain & QC templates and design elementsParticipate in project brainstorming sessionsIngest and execute creative briefs and feedback accurately and on timeScreen, log, and sub-clip footagePerform quality control on all final creative deliveries/video assetsWork within established post-production ecosystems at the companyFollow workflows and work in project management systemsBack up project edit files and organize edit archivesUphold & collaborate on efficient creative production workflows and organizational systems
Required Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree is preferred2-3+ years of editing experience in digial production and/or social for a major brand or agency (entertainment and/or streaming experience is highly preferred)Proficient with Adobe products including Premiere, After EffectsExperience with Vprod/Vpost and understanding of digital deliveryExperience in supporting a cross-platform social production teamMust be able to handle several projects at the same time
